A CPF Nomination allows CPF members to determine who will receive their CPF savings & how much each nominee should receive. One does not need to make a CPF Nomination if the intention is to distribute the CPF savings under the Intestate Succession Act or the Inheritance Certificate (for Muslims). The CPF savings in the Ordinary, Special, Medisave & Retirement Accounts are covered under the CPF Nominations, as well as unused CPF LIFE premiums (if any) & discounted SingTel shares.
However, take note that the following are not covered under the CPF nomination:
CPF Members can choose how each of the nominee(s) is to receive the CPF monies.
